2.Maria Grachvogel – Fashion Designer. Spring summer collection 2012 includes vast use of flowing materials and pattern. Materials translucent and sheer. A lot of use of block white, canary yellow and pastel colours. Also monochrome dresses.

3.Jean-Pierre Braganza – Fashion Designer. Spring summer collection 2013 entirely consists of monochrome garment with the occasional soft pastel tone. Alot of pieces reflecting men’s fashion with baggy shirts and tailored jackets.

4.Hedi Slimane - Fashion Designer and photographer. Latest collection for Saint Laurent takes inspiration from 1975 french vogue. Collection focuses on ‘skinny suiting’ taken from inspiration of a vogue cover with a model wearing a skinny fit tux.

5.Vivienne Westwood – Fashion Designer. Spring summer collection 2013. As usual took inspiration from 18th century fashion, however this time covered everything in jewels and big outrageous costume jewellery and used vast amount of metallic material.

6.Eudon Choi – Women’s Fashion Designer. Takes inspiration from menswear detailing and techniques. His designs have a dual element of masculine and feminine. His approach is about cut, texture and mixed fabrics, delivered with a futuristic edge. He says ‘This is probably due to a childhood of watching Japanese animation.

7.Esteban Cortazar – Fashion Designer. He grew up in Miami and ‘skin was always there’. He tries to capture this innate sexiness in his work capture this by using skin tone colours and cut outs revealing skin. Vast use of white in his most recent collection is supposed to depict ‘a new beginning’ or ‘blank canvas’

8.Miuccua Prada- Fashion Designer. The Autumn/Winter collection 2012 includes vast use of luxe embroidery, sequins, colourful jacquard. It’s supposed to represent the ‘pleasure of fashion’. The joy, happiness and satisfaction it brings.

9.Jonathan Saunders- Fashion Designer. Autumn winter collection 2012 is inspired by equestrian wear and Japanese style. Vast use of Japanese kimono style silks.

13.Stella McCartney – Fashion Designer. Auntumn winter collection 2012 is a combination of styles. Sexy meets conservative. Tailored suits with sheer translucent materials. Extremely british. Alot of red, white and blue. Extremely patriotic!

14.Sarah Burton – Replacing Alexander mcqueen, carrying on his legacy by taking inspiration from naturally beautiful objects to create over the top outrageous garments using fur frills and bright pinks and reds.

16.Tracey Emin- Fine Artist. Inspired by her own life experiences, uses mixed media although I particularly like her drawings/sketches using inks.

18.Cedric Rivrain- Fashion Illustrator and artist. Inspired by childhood memories of shopping in paris with his mother and watching cartoons in his childhood. Very classic drawing style combines with touches of neon colour.

19.Stina Persson- Fashion Illustrator. Stina Persson has lived, studied and worked in Tokyo, New York, Florence and Lund, Sweden, where she was born. She says her illustration style is basically about “finding the right balance between the edgy and the elegant the raw and the beautiful.” To achieve this, she uses ink, watercolor and gouache, as well as Mexican cut paper (used at ceremonies and festivals).

25.Daphne Van Den Heuvel – Fahion illustrator. She’s has establised her unique style by mixing techniques such as painting, collages and drawing with markers. Everything around her inspires her, from buildings to materials to nature.

26.Christian Lacroix- Fashion Designer. Inspiration started as a child when he found fashion albums of the era of Napoleon III, Visconti’s ‘The Leopard’ and bound issues of Marie-Claire from the years 1937-1942. He combines styles from the 17th century with contemporary fashion and unusual fabrics to create garments so individual they couldn’t be anything other than Lacroix.

27.Peter Dundas- Fashion Designer. Autumn/Winter collection 2012was inspired by the work of Helmut Newton and the movie ‘Belle De Jour’. Newton, because his images epitomised the masculine/feminine look and Belle De Jour brought about the proper versus submissive look to the collection.

28.Michael Kors- Fashion Designer. Auntumn/Winter collection 2012 was inspired by merging the opposite of the American west and old Hollywood. Blanket plaids, chunky knits and leather reflect the sensibility of the west. Satins and lace reflect the glamour and romance of vintage Hollywood.

30.Massimiliano Giornetti- Fashion Designer. Aumtumn/Winter collection 2012 was inspired by the Russia of the tsars. It became the culture built upon excellence and craftsmanship. Inspiration was taken from things such as military coats and traditionl Russian hats using furs and wools.
